Comment: Just a note of thanks to everyone who attended the Lodge Bowling weekend and helped make it a great social success once again. Thanks to the organisers, helpers, cooks, face painters, raffle sellers etc. and to all who attended from near and far.
Don't forget we will be thankful for your support again this Saturday 9th June at the Lodge Open Doors Day Event. A great opportunity for anyone not in the craft to see around the Lodge and ask a few questions. Bottle stall and raffle in aid of the Village Gala fund.

To all the brethern of the Lodge whov'e supported me in the running of the Lodge, an especially big THANK YOU.
The Lodge only works and runs as well as its members and I feel that we have a great team supporting the Lodge in every capacity.
As your'e aware we still have a few events left on the calander. First is the Church Parade on Sun. 13th May, 2.30 for 3.00pm. Then there's the Bowling Wk\End 26th & 27th May, and finaly on June 9th it's the open day.
Once again Brn. thanks for the support, see you at the bowling or open day if not have a safe and relaxing summer break and look forward to the start of the new season.

Comment: Congratulations to Lodge Ugie Team "A" who today won the Provincial Bowling Competition, well done to Scott Keith, Tom Hay and Sandy Matthew, excellent work . Also great thanks to the Ugie "B" team who competed well and had some good wins over experienced opposition. Well done to John Godsman, Wishart Rosie and Gary McLeman and many thanks for entering into the spirit of things and keeping Lodge Ugie to the fore. Not many Lodges in the Province could enter two competetive teams. I am sure a good day was enjoyed by all and thanks must also go to all the other Lodges who competed on the day for helping to make it such an enjoyable event.
